Default PBS Sort Issues

In light of the PBS pairing sort issues we are experiencing, do you find it easier to do a specific pairing bid? I note the union memo that went out today said the sort issues regarding the "if not" property "should not affect the bid award process." I am seeing issues with all types of sorting. For example, sorting by pairing length appears to work on the Parings tab, but not when I input that preference into the Bids tab. I see the same with setting a time parameter on a day off: the correct pairings show up in the Pairings tab, but not the Bids analyzer. Being junior, I am nervous to do a line bid without knowing for sure whether it will properly sort the pairings when it processes our bids. Any thoughts?

The "If Not" functionality in the Pairings and Bids (Analyzer) tabs in the WebApp is completely separate from the code that actually executes the bid awards. An Award or Avoid bid preference with an "If Not" should function normally during the bid awards.

The issue we're experiencing in PBS with "If Not" is isolated to the user interface.

If we just have to live with this issue, shouldn't this information at least be posted on the PBS "Info" tab?
