I thought this was interesting:

the annual total compensation of the employee identified at median of all our employees other than our Chief Executive Officer was $101,947

6 figure median income - that's not bad for throwing bags

Spoke with a FA who came from the line. She said the topped out pay for a bag thrower is less than starting pay as a FA.

Don't forget median is just average and I'd guess our pay rates do a lot to bring that number way up. Plus all the positions in the GO that need to compete with other corporate jobs like accounting. And dispatch.

How many of our bags throwers are actual Delta employees vs Unifi?

Median is middle.
Mean is average.
Mode is most common.

DL bag throwers can make 100K working holidays and working a ton. Flew with a pilot who was a ground manager and said he had multiple bag handlers making over 100K, and this was years ago

So we are suggesting that the investor report ordered every single of the 90,000 salaries from lowest to highest, selected the middle one, and reported that as the median? I can't think of a more worthless data point.
