Default HR Self Service Login Issue

For a couple of years or so, I have had a problem getting into Self Service. I guess I should have looked into this before, but I always found a work-around; until today.

After clicking through the appropriate tiles, I get a "SAP" login page. I gather SAP is a software company that hosts some of our amazing IT functions. Anyhow, my Delta credentials are not recognized at this juncture. I've never been advised of any need to have credentials for SAP. WTF does this mean? My once-successful work-around involved the browser back arrow, hit the Self Service tile again, and voila .... another Delta logn page, which of course demands a Ping authoriation, even though I went through this two minutes ago to get on Deltanet. From there I was able to go about my business. at times, other fun tricks have been required, up to a full restart of my Mac, as well as purging cookies, VPN/no VPN or alternative browsers. It's been tedious and stupid for a long time. Today I hit a wall. God forbid I want to look at benefits or my paycheck!

Any advice?

Sounds as though it’s working as Delta IT designed it.

Seriously though, I have no answers. This happens to me pretty much every time I try to do anything through DeltaNet. Maybe they’re doing maint and it’s actually down?

If it's that light blue page, usually hitting refresh works. You can also hit back and click self service again.

I think it's the dry-run for our "Technology Showcase" Ed will be presenting in the CES keynote speech. Enhanced security feature; CTRL ALT DELETE reboot required to gain access. No PC? Got Mac? Too bad .... MS revenge for demise of the Surface EFB. Time for the dreaded call for IT support.

+1. Refreshing the page usually works for me.

Oh, interesting, I'm not the only person this happens to. How has this been going on for everyone, for years, and nobody in IT thought to look into it?

Wait, Delta IT...right.

EDIT: On a related issue, has anyone else been having problems with TravelNet? Whenever I click one of the drop down menu options, I get the "Please Wait" banner, and then nothing ever happens.

I've been getting the BAD REQUEST white screen from travelnet today. I figured it was overwhelmed by holiday non-revs, but I have no idea.

I get that sometimes..but then if I go to incognito browser mode it works. Funny how my friends at United are able to have their United (Fly Delta) App just stay logged into their pass travel account and can list/view loads in there seamlessly.

United has better tech/IT? I would show you my shocked face, but I don't have one...

Just wait until travelnet requires multi-factor authentication. "Sorry you couldn't log in and list for that flight, my phone was in airplane mode."
