Why are all Europeans close talkers?

Maybe they're all low talkers. They always accuse Americans of being loud talkers.

Everybody knows that English is better understood the louder it is.

Yeah, unfortunately this is the way a lot of European airport authorities operate.

I remember in AMS they would have airport employees present when we got off the bus at the airport. They would approach crewmembers and start talking with them to size them up. Pretty bad in my book. However, when you are flying in someone else's country you have to abide by their rules.

It's pretty much common knowledge that they target foreign carriers; particularly the US-based ones.

So consider testing the hunch? Put 4 crew on the 3 man trip and have a bone dry plumber do the Foster Brooks act existing the van, heading to security. Nothing too obvious or flagrant of course. If they take the bait, that’s it. Euro plot. Which, face facts, is half Marxist since 1970.

No. There’s lots of things I don’t like. Being told what to do or how to feel, closer to the top.

You seriously think acting intoxicated walking through US security or terminal wouldn't raise any suspicion? It's only Europe because you don't like the politics?
