New Delta FA Base: AUS
#214
The next best thing after driving to work is having a flight every hour of every day to your companies mega-hub on non-RJ planes with bookable JS averaging about 1hr in-flight to operate NB or WB’s. AUS domicile would allow Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin and surrounding city/state commuters to have a more viable commute (e.g. 2-3 hr drive or short RJ hop) since DL is void in TX.
The FL>ATL commute is saturated, but it’s a pretty good deal outside of a MCO/TPA domicile (which I’m extremely confident will happen at some point, but not soon - too many fleets to MCO/TPA). Especially, if the commuter clause got improved to AA-style (1 standby flight no backup) or, God forbid, PosSpace would make a FL>ATL commute a breeze of a commute.

I am 100% for a FL-base after AUS. Florida is the next best thing after TX.
