Depending on how quickly they get on the line (I imagine in time for spring) this will be a pretty quick boost to the 320 fleet. I’ve been figuring this past year’s 737 flying out of AUS is temporary given the station’s history with the 320. I imagine some normal config neo’s or 321 classics taking over the current 739 flying right now.

This is wishful thinking because my butt is still sore from my last 73 jumpseat.

Also there’s a few markets served by RJ’s I see going mainline quickly for a competitive edge. DEN is the second busiest route out of AUS and I don’t see us doing well with 2 E75’s. At the very least it needs a 221. SJD is on an E75 as well for most of the spring.
According to my last info, we had 21 NEOs that were to be configured with D1 seating. Those were going to be used as Transcon primarily. Personally I haven't seen anything "official" about the 44 first class seats. Doesn't mean it's no being discussed. Those jets sitting are not making any money, so the sooner we can get them flying, sooner they can start generating revenue.

The bus bois seem to forget about the 100+ MAX 10s we have ordered. Those are going to be used in a "midcon" type route structure. Perfectly tailored for AUS/SAT/SLC from the east coast bases and LAX/SFO/SEA from ATL. The bus is not going to be the sole aircraft running to AUS. Continue to expect a mixed variety of 220/73/32x going in there. Should things improve and AUS growth remain on track, I'd expect to see it be mostly a 220/32x/73 MAX type service.

There’s a 3NP subfleet showing on DL net with 44 FC seats, so is the real deal.

We’re down to the final four days of October. On which day is the planned announcement?

220BOS seems more likely.

The 220 has been the king of false base rumors since its inception. Originally, LAX 220 and/or SEA 220 were slated to be the opening cities. It opened in NYC and SLC instead.

A DFW 220 rumor also ran around for a while at the fleet’s beginning.

It’s slowly making its way across the system at SEA and now MSP too. Slowly but surely

True, I remember you could even input an LAX220 bid in iCrew, then the bid opens with no LAX220.
