The question posted earlier was sort of convoluted. No to 78s on pacific routes. The -1000 will be flying the lions share of pacific and South Africa. hopefully that clarifies it. Now where the -1000s operate from I thought they intimated it would be MSP, DTW, LAX with some SEA mixed into it. Don't think much asia is going to happen out of JFK though.

Im not sure how the closure of Russian airspace would affect the routing on SEA-DEL, but gcm has it 6136nm and 12:35 flight time. It would obviously be longer but I think the 359 could still handle it; its much more of a capable aircraft than many here seem to think. Also I don't believe thats a market that needs 300+ seats.

Id be very shocked to see A350-1000s in MSP or SEA. The route structures from either of them don't justify the capabilities of it; everything currently flown from both of those hubs could easily be flown with A359s and I'd think the load factors are appropriate. I would expect the 1000s definitely in ATL for Asia, South Africa, DEL and RUH. DTW to ICN, HND and PVG and then LAX to SYD, ICN and maybe SIN or MNL. Where do you imagine, or where did they indicate they would fly 1000s to from SEA or MSP? Not trying to be argumentative btw, just generally curious.
