Time will reveal everything. We never anticipated receiving the 787. There will likely be another order at the Farnborough airshow as well for 220-500s.

Oh Im not sure that's accurate. You and I may have never anticipated it, but this order didn't just come from nowhere. They've obviously been looking at it for a while, I think. To your point about future orders, I could see us ordering the 787-9 as well. And agreed on the A225.

34R runway extension unlocks the WB SLC base.

Depends if they’re optioned with “essence of dead fish” concentrators.

There’s only 5 operators with more than 20 788s, one is American so not getting them from there. Doubt we’d look at Air India frames. So pretty sure, we’ll never see 788s here. 789s, yeah wouldn’t be surprised by that at all.

How does every airline besides DL get the A350 to perform fine, it is a 12hr flight, CX run a 359 from JNB-HKG, which is a longer flight, 5 more pax per plane, how bad is it, are revenue pax getting removed daily? The 330 didn't perform well out of SLC, that is known, but I have a hard time believing the A350 i struggling on an 11.5-12hr flight from SLC, did you mean the 339?

I know right, IB run 350+ seat A359's from UIO and BOG. This is more than just "Airbus is trash Boeing is great"

The biggest hold up right now is getting the program up and running. If you know any ATL 7ER leads, ask them what they have heard or who will be in the initial cadre on the 787, then ask if they have a training date yet.
Boeing to “offload” 788’s? Do you think they have some secret hangar with 30 of them tucked away? Why would Boeing offer a deal on undesirable 788’s when the same production slot can be used to build a 789 or 78X?

SLC350 will happen because the 330 is the one with all the issues. The 350 has no issues.
