I look forward to him jerking gear for me on a 350 trip. Much to discuss!

my bad..I.switched DJ's initials around
DJ=Dan J
EB=Ed B
RG=Ryan G

There, I broke the trend. Too lazy to look up the spelling of Dan's last name to spell it out

No kidding. It feels like I'm watching a 1960's office movie.

Let’s just pray that the JD initials from Atlas/Fedex stay away from the 4th floor.

RG will never fly as a line pilot. His seniority number exists solely for his own vanity.

We’ll know his time is up when he’s sent back down to the minor leagues (regional management), which is exactly where he belongs.

I think it exists because certain positions within flight Ops require them to be on the list

He hasn’t held any of those positions though. His current position was previously occupied by JL, who was never on the list.

It was all about him stroking his ego by pretending to be a 757 captain several years ago (with an LCP in the right seat at all times). I doubt he’s flown in years.

My favorite JD story (told to me so I haven’t verified). Atlas captain flying home from a long trip after an extension. Runs into JD with his son in the boarding area. Captain says a very passive hello to JD and a friendlier hello to his son. Captain asks JD’s son what he wants to do when he grows up. An awkward and uncomfortable pause, and JD says “go ahead, tell him.” “I want to be a pilot.” Captain laughs. Says it’s a great career, just make sure you work hard and fly for a great company. Smiles and walks away.
