Clearly the in-house DL performance is extra conservative compared to off the shelf products like aerodata. Allegiant runs an old A320 from EYW to CVG but DL can only make a 319 work.. not to mention all the Mexican airlines running 320/321 out of MEX just fine.

Hard to see that from my perspective when all the 319s and a majority of the 320s are going thru an avionics "harmonization" as we speak....

I didn’t think any 320s were getting updated. Only 319s

No, most of the 320’s are also getting harmonized. But relatively few 320’s are getting the CPDLC part of the harmonization (the ships without ATSU, I think 3267 and lower are not)

Did that change? I thought the ones without ATSU weren’t getting any changes.

I was confused from initial comms too, but the March fleet newsletter is pretty clear about it. 8 320’s get CPDLC (3271-3278, correction from earlier off memory), but 28 total get the rest of the harmonization.
