Soft, but respectful, disagree here. It’s not a co-equal partnership. Sorry, it’s just not. Especially with the more historic slope of upgrades.

I’m not going to refuse your return gesture, though I will put up a tacit defense at least once. 😉. Just like my kids occasionally wanting to pick up dinner. I appreciate they are trying to demonstrate their ability to ‘adult’. But it’s not equal. I won’t allow a 50/50 split over time when my ability to pay is so much greater. But I fully agree it would be rude for them not to be allowed to sometimes. Maybe that will change someday, when I’m old and they are changing my diaper… 😂

at the bar in hover hotel it’s an equal relationship. I understand your over all point tho.

Before you know it, FOs will be expecting captains to do walk arounds and buy them dinner.😂

I’m still trying to figure out if FO’s really pull down $300k here normally? Seems like an exaggeration, definitely believe there are WB FO’s that can do that easy but are the majority of 3-5 year NB FO’s really doing that? Feel like I never made that as an FO.

Yeah, you are right about that part.

I fly with lots who are easily making 300k. Live in base, hustle a little and it's not hard at all.

A year 5 FO who never lifts a finger and collects reserve guarantee will clear $220k in flight pay.

It's no stretch of the imagination for one to make $300k in flight pay if they click some buttons in iCrew and fly some premium. That's not even thinking about profit sharing.

A couple days of premium per month and a year 3+ NB FO will clear 300k pretty easily.

It takes some work & playing the slip game, but otherwise easy to achieve, if you live in base especially. I was $300k+ with year 3 pay. Worked too much, though.

If you work a bit extra via WS/GS and work the system, a 3rd year FO can easily bring in more than $300k.

Now if you're got family or wife that fills your days off with activities.. it's gonna be a lot harder.
