For the definition of fickle, see stock market. HAve you been following AAPL lately? A mountain of cash and zero debt, yet the stock price is down $100 fro it's high. This all about politics IMHO. One guy wins, and the market will remain in limbo. The business guy wins, and there is a chance that it rebounds. Capital gains taxes going up are gonna cause many to take profits while the rate is lower. And $16T in debt is not good, and many people are starting to figure this out.

Me too on the AMZN... I wish I would have put a stop in on AAPL though. It's been all over the map today. The institutionals are trying to figure it out it seems... Still have nice gains, but coulda been better. Short term calls are OK too.. if it goes, it goes, so like you I'll wait till the dust settles and see what happens.

If you don't want to work 95 hours a month then PD a trip or two. If you can't PD it, put in a qualified PD. Someone who wants the flexibility to fly their tail off might take it.
Not everyone wants/needs all that time and some people want the money to meet financial obligations. This ain't a country club.

And that is exactly why we don't have another 1000 captains flying right now.
And you're wrong. This is a country club. But pilots aren't allowed to be members. We work in the caddy shack.
