It is the First Officer.

You poke a button on the pod and it powers up the jet and starts the engines as you run up the ladder.

Kind of like the 737 does when the Captain is late for sign in. The DL-737 does an auto cockpit check, FMS load, walk around and FA brief (at least ETE, ETA and weather).

If a DAL-N CA does not like that feature, they can re-accomplish to their satisfaction (just sayin). It remains the Boss's airplane.

Don't trash my Sumitomo HTR DD.

Goodyear puts on one hell of a hospitality tent with Michael & Karin Goulian. Best corporate wine and dine ever ... probably because I wanted to make sweet love to that Extra 330 ... what an incredible airplane.

Michelin makes great tires, no doubt.

There are a ton of junky tires out there and frankly I've run them all. There is a definite difference when you switch to great performance tires.

I wasn't bashing the Advan, just pointing out I think the PSS and even the PS2's have been better for me. Tire are definitely car specific as Advans seem to be good on other "lighter" cars than what I'm driving/tracking. I actually went with some Conti's this go around to save about $300 compared to the PS2's.
I hate everything French, but I'm a closet Michelin fan as I really think they make a great tire. As for the Kumho I couldn't agree more...

I see you have changed your avatar - are we talking an audi or the REAL deal a supra TT from the early-mid 90's? Like this one since we are doing ebay posts tonight:

If you guys are going to talk ricer turbos, don't play around ... the limit on the engine was the accessories bolted to it. Turn everything off, under drive the power steering ....

Never had the engine break. Did bend the locating links for the left rear suspension going into third once.

(this one isn't mine)

TRICARE Prime ends Oct. 1 for retirees, family members - dailypress.com

Step one in the eventual dissolving of benefits for Military retirees. Hmm.

Just a heads up to all, I've barked up a number of trees this evening and have confirmed that there is a special deal for the Pinnacle Bridge program people that they will not have to have a degree like the rest of us had to.

Not only did they go around DALPA and negotiate directly with mainline mgmt, but now the ones that no airline wants will be given an expedited process for joining our ranks.

I would highly suggest calling your reps as I have to try to run this up the flagpole. This is freaking ridiculous.

Most of the Pinnacle pilots do not have degrees. I bet you when it comes down to it, very few without degrees are able to flow. They need the votes now though. I'm trying to be optimistic. I agree with you. The whole program is bs.
