Heyas ACL,

I can think of a couple of funny looking guys in DTW that are going to step up. Straight talk, no BS types.

By and large, I think most DTW pilots are satisfied with their representation, and think very highly of their reps.

With that said, most of the guys and gals I talk with think that with the merger, a new set of folks, divorced from the old NWA/Republic and bankruptcy contract cram down trauma needs to step up.

It doesn't mean that they don't like their reps, it just means it might be time for some fresh faces.

Well, if it is true, it is to the point and does not leave much to the imagination.

If all of this is true, it should lead us to ask alot of questions including,; How can the leader of the entire pilot group ever justify outsourcing the jobs of the pilots he represents? It appears that he is either in someones pockets or extremely disconnected??

Hey guys,

I guess a quick change of subject or a few questions tossed in. We on the north side didn't hear too much about that "august ae" that happened. Well....what happened? More displacements? The north "November APA"...the north's last APA actually, comes out August 20th. I was told there would likely be some movement due to the ANC base closure. What do you all think? A straight bump and flush? Or will they just fatten up the reserves on each aircraft in anticipation of the work rules changes? Just wondering what you'll think.

Or there is something so out in left field that most cannot think of what it is.

I have some ideas. It is just such a disconnect that it does not make any sense.

It closes on the 17th at 1400. Results should be out a few days after that. FWIW.

oh yeah...and seeing that this MEC is run like a monarchy, what CAN Moak do without approval from the Delta pilots? .....that thought is what scares me.

The flying report touched on this on atlas, this APA will also Have openings from the nearly 200 pirps on it that need to be covered so there should be some WB awards included.
