yeah...I think a little over 10 new captain positions. The big news is ZERO displacements. We are short....or at least the shortest I have seen in over a year or two. I honestly think that with the BP5's coming up, if we were still a stand alone (no SOC) we would need to hire some. Just look at those august retirements in the newsletter. Wow.. The ANC base closure and 200+ additional pilots...I guess made zero difference.
Thre retirement lists for the next few months should all look like that as well. Had they not changed the age 60 rule we would be seeing numbers like that without early outs right now for years and years. The numbers really are eye opening when you look at them on paper.

Does anyone know why travelnet won't show certian flights? I'm guessing it's because the flight is full. But, it would be nice to be able to see how full (or, over-full). Anyone have any suggestions?

Have you tried checking the exact flight you're looking for? I've ran into the same problem so I usually search the same flights a week in advance just to get the specific flight # I'm looking for, then I check that specific flight rather then ask for a search from departure point to destination.

The flight is showing up now. Go figure. It might have something to do with what time of day I'm checking. Thanks!
