I overheard in the ATL pilot lounge a couple of dudes saying the CO was having difficultly with the new interiors; specifically the seats. Something about certifying the seats or such. Just me unintentionally hearing them near me while signing in today. I have no proof that is really the case.

I'm going to have to disagree with you there. The old system was much better at that. He who has the least amount of flying is up at bat... fair* and spread evenly.

*unless someones idea of fair is having junior guys do all the work.

I heard that clip on the radio on the way to work one day. Thanks for the reminder to go see the film. What amazing presence and the vocals send shivers down your spine. I might sound like crusty old git but you just don't see that in the music of today. God I sound like my dad 35 years ago!

I reread PG"s post several times and saw nothing condescending in it, just a little jibe at the naysayers. Your post on the other hand was nothing but.

But you knew all that.
Clearly you don't understand our contract. The more that reserve pilots are utilized, the more reserve pilots required increases. That's the staffing formula. The ALV can't be cranked up in the 80's all year long either. So once again, you are incorrect.

Why we gave them something like that with record profits, I'll never know.
There are several people who frequent this thread who are insistent that all reserves will be flying ALV + 15 in the busy months

Perhaps. But I won't sit here and watch TC continue to toss out lies and inaccurate information. When he does that, he continues to divide our pilot group. I've also provided several reasons why I think we need to keep ALPA in some of my previous posts.

I've heard from a second mx source there is a delay but they didn't give a reason.
