I flew with line check airman. His rumor: Delta will hire 600 pilots per year beginning 2014-2020. Week old rumor. I'll believe it when I see it.

So I found out what Carl has been up to. Apparently he's been scouting for new-hire flight attendants. Good job Carl!!

There is a video on deltanet of a recent base visit. It was confirmed by crew resources of hiring 600 a year.

Speaking of that, for all of you newcomers who have abandoned the ALPA board here is your apcf crew.

Carl is on the left there, and I'm sure George Clooney guy is ALPA because he has a mustache. Now feel free to name the rest of that crew.

I wish I was one of them but I'm too busy getting lectured and laughed at for what I dressed my four year old in today.

I know nothing about clothing much less women's clothing other than its in the way if they're pretty. Thanks, I'll be here about one minute more tonight. But I think not knowing is a good thing. Manly thing. Nobody has ever accused me of being metro.... ever.

Be wary of those two on the right. They have the "ALPA stache."

I hope you are right, and it is pointless to debate it now... but like a FedEx friend of mine once said "I'll believe it when it is sitting on the ramp painted purple"

Hey T,

That quote originated when the Concorde appeared on the cover of AWST painted in purple FedEx livery......along with the announcement that 3 had been bought.......the deal fell through over spare parts squabbles, so they never made it to the ramp.

BG

Probably the only company that could have made the Concord work. New Slogan, "When you absolutely need it in New York BEFORE you sent it from London!"
