Saw them scrubbing one down in LA the other night. At the gate during an over night. Really nice to see.

Could be the night before if they don't have long call coverage. If they have a LC pilot then the LC gets the grip, otherwise it goes to out of base WS before a short call. Basically, you get the trip before an in base SC gets it. Could be day before depending on coverage. Rarely goes 2 days prior but I have seen it.

Thanks yall! I guess I can't count on that one. It's good base protection though to keep lineholders in real junior bases from picking up elsewhere where they would be on rsv or unable to hold the category.

Day prior. It used to be behind in base reserves with a high yellow slip, but now OOB WS are behind all reserves.

This is another thing I'd like to see changed back. I understand OOB WS being behind an in base reserve who wants the trip (in base pilots should have priority,) but being behind a reserve who DOESNT' want to fly?

I agree. The problem is that when we went to the RAW system a few years ago (and then the bucket system on top of that) there really isn't a "high yellow" anymore. The old high yellow truly elevated you to the top of the reserve list above all reserves who didn't have a high yellow in. Now a high yellow only lowers your RAW by 15 points, which really means that you have a slightly higher chance of being awarded a trip than before, but only that.

I would like to see the old way return as well; sounds like a good issue to remind your reps about.

Default Got Hammered for an RJ fowl up!

Saw this on the recent Delta Flight Ops Comm email:

"We boarded in Detroit headed to Saginaw, MI, buckled in, lights were turned down and we proceeded to sit for 20-30 minutes at the gate. There was apparently an issue with the plane yet the pilots and attendant provided little to no information or updates. This was extremely frustrating and likely dictated lower overall scores from me."

After checking Travel net over the next week there are no mainline flights that we operate to Saginaw! Only RJs. Glad management is hammering us for lack of PA's on RJs. Yikes.
