How about you calm down on the legal advice, especially to tell people they're violating the rules? The rules are clear that the pilot is responsible for determining whether the 8-hour "sleep opportunity" was interrupted. That's exactly how you want it: THE PILOT MAKES THE DETERMINATION. Not sailing, not Delta. 80 decides if 80's opportunity was interrupted.
Under no circumstance would I file an ASAP or call the CPSC, because 1) no violation has occurred if 80 didn't determine his rest was interrupted, or 2) he determined that the rest was interrupted, in which case he's not covered by an ASAP.
Your premise that anyone who didn't have legal rest AFTER the last robocall is violating FAR's, is flawed. Outbound calls may or may not equate to interruptions. If they did, anyone whose wife or grandmother dials them up, any drunk college friend that accidentally butt-dials them, is violating them.
If you're going to preach something, read the FAR's, and preach the right and responsability of each pilot to determine for themselves whether their sleep opportunity was interrupted.

If he did not acknowledge the calls I agree. If he did then a ASAP is cheap free protection.

80,
You bet. I don't think participating on social media is necessarily a problem, provided we retain discretion to determine whether there is an issue or not. It's the way it should be, and I'm protective of that prerogative. That's the ONLY reason I disagree with sailing on this topic.
Clearly, the company is going to have a problem with the robo-calls, and clearly, the people that determined their sleep opportunity was affected have an open-and-shut case. The people that didn't, should be equally confident in their determination. That's all I'm arguing.

In light of it, maybe guys who had <8 hrs from the last robo-call acknowledgment, to pick-up, need to consider a call to their rep?
Interesting summer coming up. The AVL for my category is 80 with the MINIMUM LCW at 74:30. There are actually a few 12 day trips that are below the min LCW. Interesting month to bid for sure...........

Summer will be interesting. I hope they are not overestimating the amount of overtime they can generate given 117 changes.
If the ALV is 80 the min LCW should be 72:30. A 12 day should be over that value unless it reports really late and is back really early. With all the programming errors of late you might double check that they have the correct trip credit.

They're the trips that bounce back and forth between SLC & CDG. I wonder if originally the ALV was supposed to be 80 then they upped us to 82 after they built the rotations?
Guess Joe Momma gets her patio cover this summer

3 part question. 1. Unless you are on reserve, why do you have your cell on? 2. If not on reserve and choose to leave your phone on for family emergencies, why not have the company blocked/do not disturb? 3. If not on reserve(with unreliable cell service) why does the company even have your home #? The company has not had my home # in over 10 years as I got tired of Robo-calls to inform me of a hotel phone # change a month out at 2AM.
