There is a 1500 word comment section at the end, be sure to air your grievances there! I told them how much we HATE 12 day trips!

Delta Rotation Construction Survey 2014
One thing that should be possible is to look at the trip awards in each category. That would immediate feedback on pilot rotation construction in each category.

RE the Rotation Construction Survey; all they really need to do is look at what the most senior pilots in each category are asking for, and then look at the bottom line holders, see what (crap) they are being assigned.

That will quickly show them -exactly- what most pilots want, and DON'T want!

I really believe this whole exercise is more about pretending "We Care" vs. actually doing anything about it, rotation construction wise. The company is going to build what ever costs them the least credit time.

Malaysia lost another 777 today. Crashed in the Ukraine. We fly the exact same route at the moment to Bombay. Flying over war zones always seems a bit questionable.

I'm starting a stretch of 16 days of flying in a 19 day period. 117 sucks. We need to tighten up work rules, among other things, in 2015.

Also, trip mix has nothing to do with available days off in PBS. That is purely a function of what days off have been awarded to more senior pilots.
Look harder. I've got 13 straight days of work in August. Unsat.

Are you sure it's the FAR? If anything, 117 should spread a pilot's flying out, not crunch it up into fewer days.

Just to be sure, you might call the PBS Help Desk or one of the PBS bidding services to QC your bid for techniques that might help.

Really? Sure seems that they made the decision to hire more prior to the LOA being signed. You got some proof for us?

The 5:15 Was in discussion since Dec. I believe it was pretty well agreed to on early April. Don't know when they announced the increase in hiring but the company put out it was because of the increased manning.
