Current junior capts are:
m88A NYC, 20 Mar 2000 North hire
727 nyv, 13Mar 2000 North hire.
Both are surrounded by 4Jun2001 south guys. So I'd say that's the current junior capt hire date, if you're looking for most recent.

outside nyc, junior capt is dtw 717a, north again, but equivalent south hire date of 22May2000.

Basically we're within 2 classes of all the furloughed guys from 2001 now, for the absolute junior reserve A. WOW that guy asked for the pain.

What biometric tests??? The ones which you get $$$ put into your HRA/HSA???

As far as I can see, those test are voluntary. Don't have to do them.

For the last three years, my family has hit the the max by around May/June. I still haven't won the Mega Millions or Powerball yet.

I have DPMP. While the premiums are higher, maxing out early and getting essentially free medical for the rest of the year balances out. The downside is having a kid who has some severe longterm health issues that lead to the maxing out. The Mayo clinic ain't cheap. but they do good work!

Thanks!
I am tricare as well and the internet research I did in indoc stated that tricare is not considered a high deductible program and therefore the IRS does not allow us to do an HSA. I originally wanted to use an HSA to pay my annual premium and potential copay.

There is a delta option for a tricare supplement but based on my situation it didn't make much financial sense for my family and current access to healthcare.

Dear brothers and sisters of the clouds....if you're flying over I-20 between Texas and Georgia, today, look down and take pity on the Dog Whisperer...for I am setting forth with my clan in the covered wagon to my in-laws. 13 + hours of forced imprisonment for my three stir crazy mini dogs ought to be interesting...just wish I had a sterile light. If you see a small mushroom cloud somewhere around Monroe....know from which it came....Happy Thanksgiving fellow Delta Dudes and Dudettes!!!

I like the layover, too. But the airport had been closed due to gunfire.

Kinda like Syria.

You are correct, but then you don't get the HSA/HRA dollars which makes the plan more expensive.

And if I were you I would do the DPMP without even ever looking at any of the other options. When you know you will have stuff like that you are no longer buying "insurance" because you know you will pay the max.

I also respect parents like you who can deal with severe issues when it comes to healthcare with your kids. I think all of us who never have issues take for granted how much good health is worth, especially when it comes to your children.
