2014 results include $1.1 billion in profit sharing expense, including $262 million in the December quarter, recognizing Delta employees' contributions toward meeting the company's financial goals.
So somewhere between what $838M and $938M in profit sharing after deducting the 4th quarter advance?

The company says 16% total. 11% in this check if your earnings the first 6 months matched the last 6 months. I did not work as much in the last 6 months as the first 6 months so mine will be smaller.

Quit playing a semantics game. That's management's job. Whose side are you on?
Who are they? Every pilot needs to know their names if they want to sell it for pennies on the dollar.

Guys and girls profit sharing only costs delta money if they make a PROFIT. I argue it's a no cost to them. We lose money profit sharing is zero. Don't touch it and get our wages up 20 percent date of signing. Please stop arguing it costs delta money. It's just a shuffle of money from shareholders to employees. Our contact should be negotiated absent any ps talk.
Everyone needs to ask themselves does RA and EB negotiate their pay and ps or bonus (and tie them together). No they get their pay and a bonus on top. Our ps Is our bonus for good work.

That's why I don't think this is going to end well. I don't think they would give us more guaranteed money and pay higher W2s knowing that in a downturn they'd have to pay that anyways.

Instead I think they'd prefer to pay less PS now and lower W2s and some would call that a win because in a downturn we'd make more. Except, they company would just ask for some of it back we would give it up. So if you went out 5 years and added a downturn at the end, we'd probably still make less then if we kept it as is.

Here to write notes.

RA up first... and I give up. Man is too fast.

Well, he just mentioned profit sharing and they're proud of paying that. Why? Because we are awesomeness and numbers numbers numbers we kick ass.

Overwhelmed. Unable. Cannot. type. fast. 1500 hours... heard that.

EB: It will be an honor to reward the Delta team come profit sharing day. Hmmmm. So who is trying to get rid of PS? I'm confused. Is this a company thing or ALPA thing?

Yeah NY and SEA. AMS and Paris. ME/Africa/Russia pooh. Yeah Brasil.

Pacific down 5%. Weekend Yen? Where is that?

I would make a lousy court reporter.

Yeah Domestic guys, we're solid. Up 3% YOY. Hey EB, get back to the microphone... there... better. The point improvements are mind boggling fun to listen too.

Incremental capacity increase in NY, SEA and LAX? But reducing domestic? Trimming capacity or reduction in the rate of growth?

Retire 747 and backfill A PORTION of that with smaller gauge aircraft. There's that. Still retiring them, did he say 5 this year?

Basic economy product is strong.

New FF program = hundreds of millions in revenue.

Alright, Paul, let's see if I can keep up with you as well as I did with the others.

Nope. Can't keep up. Fuel is $2.62/gal, $0.40 less than previous year. Projected $2.45-$2.50 for the March quarter. Full year $2.25-$2.30/gal projection. $2B savings. Refinery made $105M profit.

QUESTION TIME. Favorite part.

Wow first question is about pilots, pilot shortage and training. oh, read between the lines, sounds like RA wants to get rid of that 1500 hours. The complaint is about regulatory requirements.

Fuel windfall? What would you do with it? Reduce debt, give back to shareholders. A bunch of used airplanes orders possible?

One 747 given a reprieve because of fuel price? No. Retired what we said we'd retire. It was a swap. Took advantage of a Shanghai opportunity? Fleet plan has not changed by one airplane since the drop in fuel price. The total shell count for 2015 will be down 10 airplanes.

The goal is $5B net debt not $0?

Reps can't ease minds. They don't have the power you think they have.
