We've started referring to them as '***k your buddy passes'.

LAX is tough. I've got to get me and the kids to SOCAL in the next couple of days. I don't bother checking the LAX loads. SNA or SAN are usually better.

After an unanticipated dip in the pond, I realize I'm ready for a new phone. I've never had a smart phone and will probably get an i-phone.

Any preferences between the 5, 6 or 6+ ?

Anybody recommend something other than apple?

Galaxy Mega 2. Big.

Once you get a smart phone you'll stop talking to people on the phone. So get the Mega. big screen, great for playing on the internet which is what phones are for.

LAX to Germany. I've looked at every option I can think of but basically ATL is the goal and LAX-ATL is the only promising thing but it's LAX-ATL. There's a lot of ways to do it and I think I studied them all.

Right now I think this will work but I watched LAX-ATL flights today to see the cascade and geeish. It stinks and it's probably relatively decent to what it normally is.

6+ way too big IMHO. Dunked my 6 in the creek once already...still works fine.

Look at JetBlue from LGB or LAX to JFK and then to Germany. JetBlue doesn't overbook, and there are two jumpseats on the AirBus.

LAX-LHR, LHR Germanwings/ LH etc via ZED into germany. Works good lasts long time. Hate revealing my secrets, but honestly its the easiest of all options.

Texting on new iPhone 6. Made a quick decision, but so far way cooler than my 8 year old flip phone. 😀
