Anybody using 3rd party software like EasyBid or Bid Central? Worth the money?

The recovery that was done away with in 2011 was particularly onerous in that you went out on reserve first and the assigned trip was of course almost always much more painful than the one you had taken.
The fNWA contract allowed for "up to 5%" of credit time to be set aside and used for training purposes. Even though many of the fNWA managers are here now, let us not make that same mistake again. It was not a good thing. Very hard to administer and keep track of the percentages of time, what was being done with the time, etc. I don't blame the Company for asking but we shouldn't be blamed for saying NO to this provision.

I've used EasyBid for years and find it very useful. l One interesting feature is the ability to download the bid results after they are published and evaluate what trips were available at your seniority. It can help you analyze your PBS preferences to get better at bidding. The companion program EasySwap is also useful for putting in multiple PCS Swap with the Pot requests.

I've never used Bid Central and only used the PBS desktop app a few times, so my review comes from a skewed perspective.

Looks like they didn't backfill some of the NB categories. I guess they will address it on subsequent AEs?

That's where the new hires will go.
