Can you pre-designate a portion or portions of your Profit Sharing check to go to your & your spouse's Roth IRA (non-Delta) before the tax man hits that check?
Ultimately, I'm trying to figure out if you can fully-fund two Roth IRAs ($11,000) for the calendar year via a tax-free input, and then if you'd be taxed on the remainder at the nominal rate.

Also, depending on your total AGI you might or not be eligible. For married filing jointly, I want to say you can put in a total of 11,000 for the 2 of you....if your total AGI does not exceed 185K.
But don't quote me on that. I recommend researching to confirm. Also. If you're over the 185K you can "backdoor" into a Roth IRA. Talk to a financial advisor.
Cue the backdoor jokes.

Just pointing out that the backdoor ROTH doesn't work if you have a previously deducted IRA in your name already (either transferred or through contributions). This is because the IRS uses all your IRA balances when converting IRA contributions to a ROTH, so even after tax ones go in proportionally with the tax deferred ones, thereby preventing most of the backdoor.
Just figured out though that the remaining rollover IRA that was tax deferred can be transferred into an old company plan and that will allow my deductible IRA balance to go back to 0 which will re-allow the ROTH backdoor to resume.
Wow, what a wonderfully complicated tax system we have.
I'm amazed by the accuracy and thoroughness of the financial advice. Luv, you can't possibly be an airline pilot.
First off - good luck! I cant help you with an answer - the above post has some good advice, but just remember it could be worse:

Answer: If "10" is in the lower left corner and "11" is in the upper right corner when you select "10" it will change to a different number but "11" which will be the next one to select will still be in the upper right corner. So you can "predict" where the next box will be. It goes the same when you get to the alphanumeric sequence. So you select "a" in the upper right with "1" in the upper left. After you select "a" you will select "1" so you already know that your next selection position after the upper right is the upper left. However the bottom two positions and the position selected may/will change.
Practice in the instructions until you are comfortable before going on to the test. It is much easier to understand after doing the practice a couple times. And don't get frustrated if you hear the "sad sound" when you make a mistake on some of the tests. It's amazing how two notes can effect your mood.

This.
I practiced on one of the tests at least 10 times until I was sure. After all was done, I went to the proctor to apologize for how many times I asked for a reset and he laughed. He said he didn't care if somebody asked him 100 times to reset. He would do it until someone came in to tell everyone to go home. Like everything else on your interview, this is big. Make sure you're comfortable before proceeding.

Waldo, yeah, I watched it numerous times but the clip is too short to see if where he moves to is actually some kind of a repeatable pattern. Thx for all your help, guys!

Can you clarify for me? I hear people say this a lot, but I was under the impression a GS isn't a proffer(i.e. if they call and you answer its yours). How can you answer a GS call and tell them only if you help get me there? Isn't it on you regardless at that point?
