If you call in well on your last day of a trip, what happens if you GS or get a inverse assignment. Do use credit for sick bank.

They calculate how much time/credit was remaining on your trip from the point you called in well. Any time flown on an overlapping GS will first be applied to you sick bank, up to the amount of time remaining on your original trip after you called in well. The rest of the trip's pay is paid like a normal GS.

I have a bunch of 4 day trips coming up, all of which are garbage. I noticed that scheduling typically takes similar crappy 4 day trips in open time and breaks them into nice manageable 2 day trips before assigning them to reserves. Is there a window of time where I could capitalize on this and swap with the pot and trade those nice 2 day trips with my garbage 4 day trip? I know if I was WSing I'd get priority on those trips, but my guess is with the way PCS swap with the pot works, they break them up between runs and I'd likely never got an opportunity to swap since they fill them with reserves before the 12pm PCS run.

Is my thought on this correct or is there a way to break into these nice and convenient 2 dayers?

So....any tips for ATL paid airport parking? On the off chance that the free lot/bus finally takes my sanity? I know there is something by the convention center some guys use, think it was a hotel.

I figured this was the best place for free tax advice.
Can glasses be deducted as a job expense if "corrective lenses required" is on my license?

That would probably not survive an audit. Same think with haircuts and razors. They are things that would normally be purchased.

I once flew with a tax appeals judge. Gave him a drink coupon and he gave me an hour of free tax advice. His bottom line was never hide income, but claim what you want with a good argument. He was certainly an advocate for the taxpayers.

The first pair might not pass the test, but a backup pair is certainly required. (FOM 11.7.5)

So that second pair would probably be allowed as a deduction as not everyone has a backup pair, but you are required to have a spare pair.

I use Park N Ticket, right across road from convention center. You'll have to get the frequent user card from them and register it. After registering, call one of the office ladies and tell them you are Delta and give them the code on the card so they can apply the rate to you account. That card will become your in and out ticket, tracking when you come and go.
Heads up, I was told they only will drop us off at south side, so you might have to walk across the atrium to get to KCM.
So far I have been very pleased with the service and the rate!
