Thanks!

I'm also not sure if this section means what I think it means...(23 Q 7 e):

"A pilot will not be awarded a GSWC for a rotation that would create an FAR and/or 1 PWA conflict with a rotation on his line that originates on the same day"

Does that mean I would never get a GSWC if I only put in GSWCs for days that exactly matched my awarded trips (since they would by definition depart on the same day)? I would have thought I might pick up an 0800 report GSWC if my awarded trip started later (e.g., 1700 report), so they had more time to work coverage for that one.

It means that you wont get a GSWC if the GSWC trip starts the same day your scheduled trip does. If it starts the day prior, it's fair game.

Reasons report for your fleet and seat should show if they ran out of trips. Under "Category", it will show your overall position, your reg line out of total lines, and/or your reserve # (or reserves above you) and total reserves. That should explain if it was an "out of trips" scenario for you.

I had issues the other day. I used a different browser, and then it worked.

Anyone know how to get IcrewMax (Firefox extension) working again with the new DeltaNet/Icrew?

In the past, I could be on Icrew (if I logged in from DeltaNet) and look at my monthly schedule, and there was a button "Download Schedule" -- click it and you'd get an .ics file that was an Outlook calendar. The new DeltaNet nerfed it, now you click that button and computer locks up for about 10 minutes.

IcrewMax guys said "delete Firefox and reload, losing all your extensions and addons and all their data, but you can just re-add them, and it should work"... seriously? They really have no idea, just the standard "do a lot of painful format C: sort of stuff, and see how it goes..."

So I'm hoping someone else has run across this and maybe has a better solution.
Thx!

If you didn't have an ELSE START NEXT or CLEAR SCHEDULE at the end of your last pairings group, PBS would have given you a line if it could. That's why AVOIDS are great and safe, and why the PBS logic is sound. Before it goes into denial mode (dropping some of your AVOIDS to build a line), it attempts a line with no restrictions as a sample to even see if it's possible. If it is possible with NONE of your AVOIDS, it will feed them back in to try and meet some of your preferences. If it cannot build you "any line" with zero restrictions, it will go to the reserve bid group(s). Clear as mud?

Quick question for the brotherhood of APC,

If I do a personal drop of a trip from the 29th-2nd, I can GS or WS a trip that starts on the 28th or 30th. I just cant pick up anything that starts on the 29th. Do I understand this correctly.

Thanks in advance,
BFS

The only restriction is if you use an APD, you can't fly the day/days you APD'd. So if you're just trying to get rid of a really bad trip, then replace it, only APD one day of it. If you just do a PD, no restriction.
