Oh, I'm here ACL and Forgot. I was in bed with my wife at the time you asked.

As for today's momentous occasion, I am driving to AUS to commute on JB so I can watch the game in flight.

Let me leave you with a little song. Beer and FTB know the tune.

War Chicken fall on the field
Never to conquer, always to yield!

Then there is my favorite

Rama Jama Yella Hammer
Give 'em Hell Alabama

Bar, can I crash at your place next Saturday?

When your first daughter goes to college you'll understand.

Buck,
You know I love ya dearly man......and I'm not trying to pi$$ ya off, so I'm really doing the big brother with his arm around your shoulder thing here.

But, that is BS. The military moved some of us on here about every 3 years. I used to whine about it till I talked to a salesman neighbor who moved a lot more that that. Shoot, family drama just blasted me out of DFW after 13 years.

So........that doesn't wash. Did I want to work for NWA? No, I'm a southern boy and I didn't really know who they were.....and Minnesota??But, my choices were just as limited as your's in '95 and I took the first dance offered. Most of us do..........

As an old guy used to tell me at breakfast club when I was whinning about the bankruptcy and then the merger, we have the best job in the world but it is still why they call it work.......cuz it's work.

Beer's on your Uncle Ferd anytime my friend! Cheer up, I was in DTW when it was the OLD terminal.

I'm the unknown call blocker...I NEVER answer a call that is not IDed. They can leave a message if they don't want to tell me who they are.

No no!! I want to be The Don! He's my favorite movie character of all time. And if you are a Godfather fan like me and want to lighten things up we could have a discussion on why Vito was a WAAAAY better Don than Michael. (And then post some more pictures of cheerleaders)

New K (Not blaming anyone for anything)

The question is whether there is a offer better than a job NWA pilots bypassed. The question involves the forced relocation to a inferior position by a NWA pilot who desires to take my job.

If you ask the right question, the answer is "certainly." I never applied to NWA. That wasn't accidental.

There's a lot of luck involved in this business. It is what it is. It sure isn't status quo.

Unfortunately, I'm junior to almost everybody so I can't help you out there.
Bar,

It was TIC, and I hope no one actually quits - I think they would regret that decision for the rest of their lives.

Ask anyone in this biz if it's what they signed up for 10, 15, or 20 years ago. It is what it is and rememberer the "grass is always greener over the septic tank"

If you end up this way I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how good the QOL is and what your juniority will get you.

I secretly love the coed pics, but I can't admit it because my oldest daughter goes to college next year. I'm a little conflicted, as I'm sure you can imagine.
