Green slips aren't paid for committing to fulfill a schedule (see GS on reserve, which you can get without ever flying again in the month). They are paid to help the company get out of a pickle. Mil leave-takers can do that just as well as pure civilian pilots.
If mil leave users want to get a GS, then there is also a contractual remedy for that--bid a reserve line, and GS on reserve off days. I just don't see any push to allow for MLOA to be counted against the regular line GS trigger like vacation is. I suppose if the company came to us with that request (which I doubt they ever will) then we might consider it. But I don't ever want to waste negotiating capital otherwise for something that they likely never considered or wanted in the first place.

Thanks. One more question. Does that six hours start at my old report time or my new report time today?

Original report. Check your schedule and see if it says 23k. They post it on there. Does not mean it's correct but if you don't see it your off the hook.

You're free to white or greenslip on those days now if you choose.

New hire question.
I'm on reserve this month with two days of CQ at the end of the month. I got a green slip today for a one day. My projected credit is 67 hours since I have two days for CQ. It says my credit for greenslip is 75, so can I expect 5:15 on top of that 75??

Also the payback day they put on my very next on call reserve day. Can I ask them to put it in my bank to use at a later time or does it have to go on my first available on call day? Thanks.

Yes 5:15 extra pay. Payback day will go on next on call day. Can't ask to move to bank.

I've seen more blurbs about the new PBS app from DALPA and the Company than I care to count. Bottom line -- we can still use the normal PBS link on Deltanet for the time being, correct?

Are they warning us/educating us about something happening 6 months from now?

Hey guys, when you request a vacation slide in your bid, does it have to be to another week's start date or could you move it to odd days like a wed-tues?
