Multiple bids are run using different TLV assumptions and then DALPA gets to QA results and can ask for additional reruns.

I only bid a few specific trips for July. I used iCrew => Pilot names for trip number and saw my name on and off the trip I selected throughout the day. It must be a lengthy process. Too Lengthy.

Baja.

I thought he was saying it took a day to process the avoid bids. Also was trying to be funny. Cuz 80's calculators.

But while we're talking about it, how long does each run on each TLV assumption take? Is it a common occurance for DALPA to request a rerun? What reasons would make them request one? Any reason they worked so hard to get A results out so late last night?

Every category is unique so there is no one answer. DALPA as a example however would request a rerun if they felt a category had excessive unstacking. The company will use different assumptions trying to drive line values lower or higher depending on manning. We have one of the better if not best PBS system in the industry because we have a lot of checks and balances. Most of that work is done by volunteers at DALPA. It's a pretty thankless job.

International pay question:

The $6.50 / $4.50 override for international does not apply to M88 drivers going to Cancun? I've been a few times I don't see on my PAS where they are applying that credit.

It should apply unless something changed with our newest contract.

I figured as much. Not saying you are wrong, as I believe that is probably an accepted practice - but the contract makes no mention of that. It simply defines it as: “International pay” means an hourly pay premium paid to a pilot for flight time flown in an international operation

Suppose I'll just write the rep and see what he says. It's not a lot of money but it covers the first round and the van tip.
