It's just not the "win" its made out to be - the upside is we will all be probably be able to retire from the same company. Better than many can say right now. There are 12000+ shoes here, and some do decidedly better than others (on both sides). Just saying.....

and that has nothing really to do with going from 75 to 70 hours guarantee

none of this really matters anymore anyway so lets move on
Got to ask, because I cannot find the old pay scales. What was the old DC-9 FO pay scale at 9 years?

DAL-N had to provide us with headsets, so I wonder what will happen to them. Will they just take them off, or stop replacing them? Anyone know?
Johnso, all the jets have headsets. Dave Clark. I just use those now, although I have a Telex.

Are you crazy? On that airplane your head must hurt after a five hr flight.

Nope, I take it off at cruise and turn up the speaker. I do, however, answer all radio calls and, if things are quiet, query ATC every 15 minutes.

It is possible with the contract
Most anything is possible. It's the probability that you have to think about. Plus, you'll be pay protected, so won't that make up for it? If you don't want to fly the DC9, then put NYC MD88 on your MD. I'm pretty sure that'll stay jr, & it was something you signed up for when you took your job with DAL so you should be just fine with that.
