I was told that the only thing we can claim is perdiem expenses. Because the system for some reason doesn't automatically pay us perdiem in training, they set this thing up. We have to manually tell the system what our begining duty time and ending duty time was for all training events. We then get paid the $2/hr perdiem. If you don't put that in, you will not get paid per diem for training events!! Other than the perdiem, I don't think they re-imburse us for anything else. Another fine feature of Delta's extremely advanced computer system.
My schedule in DBMS knew to tell me to show up 30 minutes prior to my DH to training and showed a duty end time of 30 minutes after my DH flight landed coming home. Wouldn't think it would be hard to just pay us off of that data. Still can't believe we have to do this to get paid and also log our landings. Even the MESA guys don't have to log their own landings.
That's kinda how I felt when I realized I was shorted a few hundred bucks. The CP said, "you get a popup message on e-crew now to remind you to do it." However, that message is confusing because it tells you to input your expneses for training but gives you no idea on how to do it and leads you to beleive it is for expenses other than perdiem. The message should say, "If you want to be paid PERDIEM for your recent training, you MUST input the hours you were in ATL or you won't get paid." I think we would all understand that message.
Super, I'm sorry man, you post some great pictures of Texas coeds but these TCU majorettes that Fox is putting on multiple close ups during the Fiesta Bowl really take the cake.
2 more nights Super and Satch, 2 more nights. I shall be out flying and will simply do my ATLXGDL.
Unless it snows in Atlanta, then I shall be in the airport terminal throughout the game.

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Allegiant Travel Company (Nasdaq: ALGT) today announced that on December 30, 2009 it signed an agreement to purchase 18 MD-80 aircraft from Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS). Allegiant will pay for the aircraft with cash.
Allegiant expects to take delivery of these aircraft during the first three quarters of 2010. The 18 purchased aircraft comprise two groups:
* 13 MD-82/3 aircraft which the Company's airline subsidiary Allegiant Air expects to place into service by the end of 2011. Along with a previously-announced separate purchase of two MD-82/3 aircraft (also from SAS) for delivery in the first quarter of 2010, this transaction satisfies essentially all of Allegiant's currently expected aircraft growth through the end of 2011. Allegiant expects to operate at least 52 aircraft by the end of 2010 and as many as 60 aircraft by the end of 2011.
Allegiant expects that the all-in cost of placing each such aircraft into service, including an allocable portion of the acquisition price and required maintenance, paint, seats, equipment upgrades and other necessary modifications will be less than $4 million per aircraft. (GO DOUGLAS!
)
* Five MD-87 aircraft which Allegiant will not operate but instead plans to use as a source of spare engines and other spare parts.
