It passed without comment here on APC, but did you all know that our CEO was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta?
Quite an influential position. Never hurts to have a man at the Fed.

Trust me, it was not lost on the Japanese...would you be more inclined to make a deal with a person who has some peripheral ability to influence the monetary policy of the US? My bet: YES!
My second guess is that he is being groomed for a top spot somewhere else....I know we're all partial to convenience stores, but dammit, Hy, the sun doesn't rise and shine on the corner grocery! (or airline, in his case).
