In the eyes of Wall St. RA and co have done an awesome job, they can get anything done. They know how to deal with labor, wall street, foreign governments, local and state governments, et al. They are the Supermen of the airline industry. They made the world's largest airline merger go off without a major burp. That alone will allow them to command at least double their salary. Will the BOD here cough it up?
They will need to pay and pay a ton to keep anyone who is a VP on up. Change in inevitable with a success like this. It is the problem about being good. The team never stays together.
I will submit that if the core team does stay intact, the cash is flowing and RA is the boss of the century.

Agreed, but we have lost more in the last two years than most companies are worth. I know Eight billion of 2008's losses were in the form of goodwill write down, but still, that is a lot of money.

I could, I'd put a lot of smoke in so they could blame the loss on the fog of war. 
A good "Don't Stop the Music" from Rihanna or "When Your Fifteen" from Taylor Swift would put investors in the correct mood a lot better than well played piano backed up by a quartet.
I'm wondering if they'll play Rhapsody in Blue? Oh wait... maybe... nope.
Even though its United's song to me growing up that song = airline flying.

That's entirely possible. What point are you trying to make? I've been following this thread for some time now. I have a pretty good sense of its ebb and flow. Pretty much everyone gets along here. I like what I see and hear from the South guys. (Good health to you too Slow ) King makes one comment (seemingly with this intent of trying to pull all of us back from the edge of self immolation) and you screw yourself into the ceiling with one juvenile, semi illiterate post after another.
