Wow, we are bigger than AF/KLM. Why do we let them push us around?

We're only 50% bigger than they are. We have to be 100% bigger to be the "big dog" apparently...

So it looks to me like you need to use the APD no later than the bid period PRIOR to you anniversary bid period month.

Best...Philly

Thanks Philly! Should work out since I am going to use my APD at the end of March and my hire month is April. Thanks again for looking that up!

Do you get paid for an APD?

(BTW, this is my beer question for TOEs: Where is the ONLY place you can find the forecast temperature for your destination? And why?)

T:
Since I used a color I believe you're fond of...please be kind. :)

My second guess is on the bottom of the AWABS. Reason...Trick Question.

Since we're dealing with DAL, Mother Nature, and WX Guessers, if the Destination Forecast Temp was REALLY IMPORTANT, it would be presented in multiple places. The obvious would be on the WX data Page/s in the Forecast Weather section...(too easy), and at the bottom of the flight plan, at the destination listing. It would also be easy to find its location in the on-line FOM. (I checked.)

My Semi-Pro guess:

In any newspaper weather section....because it's not important to the airplane, and it's probably going to change. (If it does, can anyone change it back?)

Would you please let us know where to find this WX Nugget?

Cheers!

Back to my beverage.

It's in the preface...useful for the top of climb PA for temperature in degrees F for your arrival. Using it keeps you from having to convert it in your head with the PA mic switch on!! ha ha.

Yes it appears they are in deep trouble ;). 2010 appears to be on track for numbers in the same range. You don't have to like them but the numbers do speak for themselves. Who knows what will happen going forward.

Net Income 2009
:

AAI: 134. 6 Million profit

ALK: 121.6 Million profit

LUV: 99.0 Million profit

DAL: 1.23 Billion Loss

I guess the funniest part is that DAL paid down debt all year, ADDED cash to their balance, & had quarters of operational profitability, but somehow lost money. Man, those accountants are tricky people. ;)
