Yes. It's the box that most all delta pilots who don't have a raw score of 0 lug around. You can tell ny the stickers that say hired not acquired, I'll keep my gun you can keep your change, various squadron stickers and a 9/11 ribbon.
I'M KIDDING!!! I've yet to see the sticker hired not acquired and I'll be sad when I do.
My bag has boring stickers, DELTA, planes I've flown and bland. I've been toying with putting this one on:
boy am I flamebait or what?

It seems that the equipmemnt shouldn't be the problem as much as integrating N&S F/A crews. As they don't have an integrated seniority list, how could they fly together? Bidding positions etc.

Oh, sorry, its been awhile. I was dreaming...but at one point I was flying my ass off, and then we had a merger, and then I was pushed down to reserve, and then, I don't fly any more.
I'm not sure if I can find my way back to LAX. And then, we changed employee parking lots, and then.....sheesh. What does a 737-800 look like again?
Love ya FTB. We gotta do adult beverages soon. That is, if I ever travel again.

Yep. Three out of every four times I fly these days is out of SNA. we've even had a few ONT trips lately. I hate SNA too, plus for me its a hike from Ventura County.

Hey you 9 denizens out there. Your arguments remind me of when the 141 was scheduled for retirement and the 17 was not the plane it is today. One of the problems of the 141 was it was so old and used and the tech was so old. For example the relays were made of ceramic and were irreplaceable. The ceramic had become so brittle that any mx on them and they crumbled.
Are there any gotchas like that in the 9? We've heard about the bulkhead fix, the avionics, and the hours/cycles limit but are there any other basic mx issues that would force them into retirement? Not trying to denigrate the old bird as I loved the Star Lizard. I saw 241 Lizards replaced by 150 Budas. Same result, not as many jobs or destinations could be served.
