Speaking of hats. I noticed that the womens hat looks exactly the same as the mens but smaller. I ordered one up and sure enough, its a smaller version. For those of you with a small head like mine, its the way to go.

Or for those of you that dont like a huge pizza box on your head, its the way to go.

As far as I know, yes.

p.s. Is it canceled or cancelled? Firefox is telling me cancelled is not a word. That's a word I thought I knew how to spell.
Interestingly enough, Microsoft Word shows both as correct and having the same meaning. Strange, huh?

Haha

Yup, it's tiny tiny. But like newKnow said, it'll get bigger when I get the left seat.

Hey Boyz!!

I just looked at my schedule for next month to see who (or is it whom, I slept through HS english as you can tell) I'm flying with. It's good news bad news, the good news is it's a great european layover. The bad new is both trips I'm flying with the MSP chief pilot (LH). Great guy, but guess I'll leave the dirty jokes home.

Anyway...........both trips require a 3rd pilot, but there is none on the DBMS. Will the 3rd guy be a reserve? The old nwa (yeah yeah I know) would put the 3rd guy on his own pattern (did it a couple of times, fun with lots of flexibility - I was the JAFA <----fa term for just another freek'en add).

Not a big deal, just curious

I heard there's a case of the aluminum flu going around....

I'm with Denny, just toss it in and see what happens and leave it. If your asking for holidays though don't be surprised if it never happens. Also, you could luck out as people come in off training and those numbers get adjusted. Doubtful, but hopeful.

Its a matter of economics...

Used MD90 is $5-6M, new 73N is probably $30-40M (bought in bulk ;-)
That's a lot of cash you can spend on mods before even comeing close to half the price of a new one.

AA made their own screwdriver tails for their MD80s. FNWA tech modified the pressure controller and got rid of the clatter wheel...

TechOps would just make their own kits to convert the cockpits.

I'm doubtful this will happen unless we see double digit growth...

Cheers
George
George, I'm hopeful they would do something cool like upgrade the cockpits. I hope Nextgen makes it a requirement. And I'd imagine we could pull it off without having to get stuff from MD/Boeing I just wonder if in the end they'd spoil our fun.

So either I'm tired or I read too fast and inserted words for you but I swear I read "I just looked at my schedule for next month to see who or whom I slept with in HS english and I'm flying with them."

Dirty Uncle Ferd. Its not enough that he knocks over the Christmas Tree and passes out drunk on the couch while our Aunt sobs in the kitchen but now he is flying with people he got to know in high school english.
