anything anyone tells you would be a guess. But.....heres my guess. A pilot hired today will be a captain in 7-8 years.

Probably less if they want New York, or Delta gets a 100 set jet. If the MD90's show up on the property (which is appears they are beginning to staff for with 190+ new hire slots for the Dog) it will be interesting to watch how senior that goes.

My guess is that MD88 guys will be holding a line in just a couple of months in New York, probably six months to a year in Atlanta and a year to year and a half on the 737. If everything holds up as planned.

I had heard 35 in this class, but the number posted elsewhere is 27.

It was to be 35. Maybe they could not get that many cleared for training.

Me, Shrek, and M.J. interview together on the 27th. It'll be "Cargo 360 Day" at Delta for a change, instead of "Delta Day" at Cargo 360... Drop by and say "Hi" if you're still in the area.
Hey Tubbs

Nope I am 88 nyc with all my friends. 19 of us going to the mad dog in NYC. There is an advance entitlement out so I am thinking that I sould be able to get to Atlanta by March, maybe Jan. Great bunch of guys and gals in the class. I will be home by your interview. Good luck to all three of you.

As of early Aug, it sounded like there were still openings in the Aug 20 class. I haven't heard about a class yet, but it sounded like around 14 days or less if there were no problems with any of the paperwork.

I know that they were sticking people in class before their background checks were done.

FYI the guy that is sending the invites, will be out of the office until the 22nd. There may not be to many in the next few weeks. I would bet after that a lot of people will be joining you.

ACL

Do you know if a new hire in the 8/20 class will be eligible for the new bid that is out.

PS I don't know what the DAL term for "bid" is.
