Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
You're kidding, right? One of my best friends played in college and tried out for a professional team. He used to come home beat to hell with bruises, cuts, and strawberries. It's one heck of a tough game that requires somebody to be in amazing shape. They also don't stop the game for anything. Some guy could be bleeding profusely from the head and they come out with a stretcher, take the player off the field and keep going. The fans are also so crazy that if you miss a penalty kick in the World Cup, you could get shot when you get home. I don't play nor am I a big fan, but it's one heck of a tough game!
Definition of "Ignorant". Tell you what, stay away from watching Soccer and let the rest of the world enjoy the beautiful game. Because of course, the billions of people who watch it and play all around the world must have it wrong....and we Americans of course have it right
Keep enjoying NASCAR, and Football with 6'5" freaks of nature crush each other with pads. And as much as people here think football players are real athletes, hate to break it to you guys, just because someone is huge with ripped muscles it doesnt make them a great athlete. They take breaks every 15 seconds. Soccer players run 8 miles a game.....
Like I said, keep enjoying your NASCAR, Football, and ever so exciting golf.

After reading it, you might better appreciate why some of us enjoy football instead of soccer.
A previous poster jogged something in my memory. I was on a military trip flying through England during World Cup season. We went to Cambridge, hit a couple of pubs, and watched the soccer game. Near the end of the game, the police swarmed into all of the pubs with video cameras and batons in hand. Many of the locals ran from the pubs. Near the end of the game, the locals turned extremely rowdy and violent. We decided to leave and went back to the base. The following day, there were riots, several Americans were beaten up, and some cars were set on fire. Good times.
Anybody know if the training schedule for our latest A/E is going to come out early or if we're still planning on mid-June?
Love that plane, and that picture gave me memories...

UPS continues their colon cancer awareness paint scheme:
It's funny you posted this. A Captain and I were recently saying how we should paint an airplane all brown with a rubber glove on the nose and raise money for prostate cancer research. Looks like UPS beat us to it!

Why do I not "surprise" you? Thats a pretty general statement.
And I watch football. I love it. That again is not the point I am trying to make. The issue I have is this mentality by football fans that anything less than 300 pound dudes crushing each other with pads on is more manly than anything else out there....and that anything else out there sucks...especially soccer. Even though they know nothing about the sport. I dont care that we Americans dont care about Soccer, but this mentality that we have it right and the rest of the world is wrong is beyond twisted.
