Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Do you guys remember the Sahara? That was a low point in Delta hotel experiences...until somebody mugged a female pilot in the elevator, and a partying group of thugs threw empty glass bottles of beer onto a crew getting into a crew van, and Las Vegas finally decided to bulldoze the place over for a parking lot.
I'm guessing ACL can hook us up for the Wynn. Who wouldn't welcome the APC Delta thread of miscreants and ner' do wells?
OK, if ACL can't bring it home...how 'bout we enlist Ferd? I KNOW he knows the landscape.
Ferd?

If we're going to ***** and moan about company stuff, lets make it count. Whoever is the guy or girl sitting in the cubicle on the 4th floor on Virginia Avenue is some really trivial stuff guys. I wager that 99% of us will never know them or even care. That's what I'm saying.
I.
As a matter of fact - I am not even sure that they exist!. Just had brews with a Deadheading fNW crew, great dudes. One thing we can hopefully agree on - any discussion is better over beer!!!
Scoop
Does the Wynn have Steak and Shrimp for $9.95?
I think not.
When I was a corporate pilot, actually right before I came to Delta, I did a trip out to Las Wages. One of many many trips. Anyways, at 8am we were on the way to the airplane and there was a dead body in the street I think either by the Bellagio or NYNY. At 8am.

It sucks that guy was fired especially if what he said he could do was true. Maybe more to the story? Don't worry, though... that money he saved for NWA was probably burned off in fuel costs due to crews not single engine taxiing and running APU's all day long. I've jumpseated probably 10 DAL-N flights over the past couple months and only one crew has used single engine taxi. I'm seeing more APU's shutdown at the gate, though, since that APU memo came out so that's good.
It's getting better. Yesterday I got a SE Taxi to the runway on 2 of 3 legs. The 1st one we were just too heavy, & in SLC. Wasn't going to work. Also, got a SE taxi in on 2 of the 3 legs. Only reason we couldn't on the 3rd one was because it was not an authorized SE taxi gate. I don't know where you commute from but MSP, DTW, & LGA have quite a few gates which prohibit SE taxi.
