No trip. Unless one pops up in the next few minutes and they just pulled my name out of the hat. For the last 30 minutes (at least) I'm not shown on the reserve availability list, not on short call, nothing is assigned to my line, and I'm not on the daily trip coverage. It's like I'm just gone.

Well, we do have a lot of new folks in crew scheds. I've been doing this reserve thing (under this reserve system) for 3 1/2 years now. I've never seen anything like this happen. I would definitely call them and find out what's going on... if you can get through. Good luck!

I am trying to drop a trip over 4th of july weekend. PCS wouldn't do it (capped reserve days). Does that mean its a done deal or can a human scheduler still do it?

Good luck, I think you're going to have to fly. You can't even use your APD over July 4th regardless of what the reserve coverage is. I tried last year and had the same problem. APD's are no good if they touch holidays (PWA).

I had the 4th off last year and they called for an IA. This year I don't have it off and I'm one of over 60 FOs they put on reserve for that day on the 88. Normally 30-40 reserves is what you see on a given day and 20ish once the month starts to take it's toll. Lots of people want it off and they're probably expecting lots of sick calls.

Whether guys call in sick is a different story, but they probably have to expect it and given it's trsa season doesn't help.
