Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Well it a gut kick. The quality of the operators (TSA management) is no improvement on Mesa.
With these prices you would hope that Delta was getting their money back through restructuring of the DCI agreements, but, TSA had already been fired once by Leo Mullin. Take away:

- We're just giving lip service to our product
- Narrow body domestic operations up to 100 seats is not seen as a core part of Delta's business
- There must have been provisions in the new DCI agreements that Jerry Atkin and Bryan Bedford found very unappealing
- Delta does not want SkyWest, or Republic getting stronger
- The whipsaw will continue, amongst labor and their employers
Like I have said this is a developing story.
I do not put it out of the realm of possibility that SKW and or RJET will go buy these new super regionals, and I am not sure there is squat DAL could do about it if they honored the ASA's.

ACL,
Depends on the contracts. ... Delta could have easily restricted transfer to any operator they did not approve, or have a first right of refusal clause.
This also means they must not have been able to give Comair away. That was more than a four billion dollar asset at one point, now worth .... jack squat?
I get what we're doing. I just don't understand it ... from ALPA, or management's perspective. It will be interesting to see the market reaction.

Ad;
FWIW, the right of first refusal will not come in to play if SKW would honor all standing contracts. I bet we see more news today.

The compass emails addressed why comair was not included in a sale. Said the cost structure was to high and no one wanted them. I expect further comair news about them just being closed down and the 700/900 sold to skywest inc.
Sadly I do not see that as a long shot.
ASA's MEC is getting briefed now according to some guys over there.

What are the different flow scenarios? Did Mesaba's require Mesaba to be wholly-owned? If not, then why doesn't Pinnacle have a flow? I know Compass's flow remains intact assuming the Compass pilots are not merged into another list. Is it possible for no Compass pilot to ever flow and no more Mesaba pilots to flow?

What is your point with this? This is the 2nd time you posted it. Are you implying that our scope would allow this thru a loophole ala Midwest or a blatant violation of scope?

That plane is still 5 years away at best... I think he is implying the compass a/c may be sold and TSH will be forced to find replacement a/c.
The MRJ can be configured to 76 seats almost exactly like the current 175
