This wasn't you, was it, hoser?

A guy had an interesting experience recently involving an “older” woman he met at a bar.
She looked pretty darn HOT for 62
. She was drinking quite a bit and, while they were chatting, she came right out and asked him if he’d ever had a “sportsman’s double” - a mother and daughter threesome.
He said no, but she might be able to talk him into it. So she slams back one last drink, wipes her mouth and, looking directly into his eyes, says, “Tonight’s your lucky night.”
So they go back to her place, she clicks on the hall light right as they enter her place, and she shouts upstairs:
“Mom! You still awake?”

:D Thank you. I'm going to bed!

Well if you're going to add to the discourse just promise you want tell a mom and grandma joke, k? :D

1 of 2 ways, either click that yellow box above (rigt below the undo and redo arrows) and paste your pictures internet address or write IMG and then paste your internet address and then write /IMG again but now put brackets [ ] around the IMGs. If I do it now it goofs up this sentence so just remember [ ] around the IMGs.

If it didn't work, just know most pictures should end in a .jpg or .gif or what have you, if there is anything after the .jpg or .gif then erase it and re-preview and see if it works. Or pull a FTB and just hit SUBMIT REPLY HA HA HA, and then find out it doesn't work and scramble to correct it.

Yeah, so either SWA has better lobbiest (spent $180K in 1Q) or the money flows in from elsewhere. I'm not versed in my lobbiest ways, maybe our political guru Buzz can add in, but either we're wasting money or doing it right which isn't enough:

WASHINGTON (AP) - Delta Air Lines Inc., the world's biggest airline, spent $677,125 in the first quarter to lobby on passenger issues as the government prepared to effect a new rule that imposes big fines for lengthy tarmac delays.

New Transportation Department rules took effect April 29, imposing steep fines on airlines who leave passengers on the tarmac for more than three hours. Airlines had opposed the rule, and similar proposed legislation, saying it would lead to more cancellations.

In the January-to-March period, Delta also lobbied on proposed restrictions on using personal electronics in the cockpit. It had a special interest in that topic after a flight by Northwest Airlines (which Delta acquired in 2008) overshot its Minneapolis destination by 150 miles because pilots say they were engrossed in a complicated new crew-scheduling program on their laptop computers.

In April, the Federal Aviation Administration asked carriers to address crew distraction through training programs, and to create a safety culture to control cockpit distractions. During the first quarter, the Senate was considering some bills that would have banned some personal electronic devices in the cockpit.

Delta also lobbied on the Essential Air Service program, which uses government subsidies to keep air service flying to small cities.

U.S. law limits the size of the stake that foreign owners can take in American carriers; Delta lobbied on that issue during the quarter, according to the filing. Airlines have generally wanted foreign ownership restrictions eased (Delta too? Can you say Skyteam by Delta Air Lines? Makes you wonder, what is the planned durability of our new paint jobs? Things that make you go hmmmm...) because they prevent overseas investors — and foreign airlines — from taking big stakes in the U.S. carriers.

In addition to Congress, Delta lobbied the FAA and the Transportation Department, according to the filing made April 20 with the House clerk's office. It also lobbied the State Department.

Delta spent $819,566 on lobbying during the first quarter of 2009.

"Interesting" trip construction for August, at least for DTW7ER. The good news is we're picking up more Europe flying, but the trips are like nothing I've ever seen. Example...work a three leg domestic day, end up in PHL, 23 hour layover into a CDG over and back, then end it up with another three leg domestic day. 5 days worth about 30. Anyone ever seen anything like that before? Same thing going on with PIT to CDG and MEM to AMS. Not complaining about getting more europe, of course. Are any of the other bases seeing the same kind of stuff? I haven't taken the time to check.

I haven't read anyone's responses yet, but I thought this wasn't allowed. I know ER can fly domestic but only off of reserve and it has to be in the ER pot after domestic lines built. I didn't think we allowed this mixing!
I'll read ahead now....

how did the 4th weekend go for different categories? A lot of people were assigned 4-days that went beyond the 4th but for me I was 0 RAW from the 1st to the 4th and never even touched for SC much less a trip. Heck, to find me you had to go to page 3, 4 or 5 on the reserve availability list. Now had TSRA's run up on ATL then they'd used everyone I'm sure but to me it looks like there weren't many sick calls having watched the daily trip coverage every day. Pilots are more trustworthy than we get credit for.

I think they are way over staffed ATL 88B. There is negative coverage all month, very little if any G.S. going out, and the category has increased manning by >115 pilots since last summer.
I haven't been able to swap or drop a trip in 2 years unless it was exact day for day.

ER can fly domestic as long as it's in the bid package. Every since last winter that has been the case. Reserves can get used any ol'e wicha' way. Line holders could not be rerouted to a trip outside of the bid package.

Those trips sound like big time moneymakers but I bet they go junior. Most guys holding international trips do it for a reason. They don't want to mess with domestic. They like one leg over, one leg back.

The aforementioned trip sounds tiring. Is it a 5 day trip?

Well when I heard ATL 88B could be a new hire position it makes me think they're just planning on an AE with a lot of movement out of the 88.... but then again its important to remember a lot of people have chosen to move off the 767/7ER into the 88 for seniority reasons. I work hard to ruin this categorys reputation but evidently nobody listens to me and I can't seem to do anything but go down on the list here. :D
