Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

Are the ER reserve pilots really sitting that much? I would think that with so many unfilled slots from the last AE that reserve pilots are flying more that sitting. How much do you really sit in New York on ER reserve?

I think they are flying a lot. Odds are pretty good a reserve will be flying a pretty full schedule these days. But if you have four days on call and go out on a three day trip, you may well be assigned a short call on your last day. A reserve pilot is on call 18 days in a 31 day month, and you can pretty much count on flying or being in New York for all 18 of those days.

Reserve in ATL is a piece of cake... I've sat 2 months on the ATL767 as bottom guy. I credited 110ish hours in July and it's going to be in the upper 80's this month. As a DTW commuter, I've only had to get one hotel. That was because of an early sign-in a couple weeks ago.
One hotel in two months as plug on reserve, not a single short call, and I've known about all my trips greater than 20 hours in advance... I call that not too bad.

Those requiring a relief crewmember 757/767_ER,767-400, 777
I think they type the domestic 757/767 category, but I'm not 100% sure.

Delta types all FOs on the 767, domestic or international.
Info only, but at Delta the domestic 757/767 category is simply called the 767 category. The international 757/767 is called 7ER.

Just finished the DAL interview and the gouge out there was "laser" guided. The test has not changed. Be yourself in the interview and study for the job knowledge. 4 of 7 were hired. Good luck.

There was a guy from Omni on the second day of my interview, but I do not know if he got a job offer. Nice guy though...
