The new test is 75 questions in 75 minutes. The old gouge is still pretty good for studying... just don't expect to study the questions and answers only. Use the gouge to study the areas in general (what you probably should be doing from day 1). The new test is not difficult by any means, if you spend time studying. I don't think Delta is really looking to bust people on this, they just want to see that you basically know your material and you can apply some of that knowledge. Before the gouge was so accurate the test was pointless.

Are they still planning 2 classes of 30 per month or have any of you in training heard any thing different?

30 to 35 a month is the latest I heard at the training center. Expecting new hires to go to the 400 as well as the 777 shortly. With respect to the merger talk there is as many opinions as there is people, the only common thread is "Fence" - one can only hope and I see where it can be good for most.

Build it high and build it long! Let's call it a rampart. Great Wall of Atlanta...

Default 21 Jan Drop

12 76ER NYC
1 73NG NYC
9 MD88 NYC (Shuttle)
2 73NG CVG
1 MD88/90 CVG
1 MD88/90 SLC
1 75/76 LAX
3 73NG LAX

The LAX 75/76 went first and the last 76ER fell to #26 out of 30

Mr B said they are still hiring 400 this year despite any merger rumors, strictly due to growth.
