The AA pilots did it back in 1963 and they never looked back, there are many opinions as to wether they're doing better than us or not, but two things are clear, they still have a Pension and they have a better Scope.

By signing your authorization card, it doesn't mean you are automatically going to vote for DPA, but you are willing to listen. The worst case scenario is that we see a radical change in the way ALPA National does business and if that happens, we all win.
Well stated.

Hmmm. Interesting. I wonder if an over 60 buyout is worth it.........

I say go for it!

I am sure you meant over 60. Also, they are currently scheduled every 5 months since there is no grace period. Seems like that's all I have been doing lately.

Simple solution, the FAA will drop the line checks. Surprised it hasn't been done yet but watch it happen. Then a company wouldn't have to do buyouts.

I heard ALPA already made this proposal to the FAA to take the "undue pressure" off the over 60 crowd, then the new age 70 rule was added to the proposal Pot Stirred!

But how did they make out with the TWA merger? Reno?

You say that like it's a bad thing. They probably take steroids and hate puppies, kittens, apple pie, and Chevrolet. Ban them for life. Go Buckeyes.
