B scheds for May are out. That's A LOT of reserve coverage!
Had to go to page 6 to find the Latest & Greatest thread. These are crazy times ;-) |
Great. Finally a thread for just general news at Delta.

So what's the latest on protective equipment? I only work about 1 trip per month and so far I have only seen one of those cockpit cleaning kits. Lots of stores in Hawaii require a mask to enter so I had a hard time finding dinner. Next stop is LAX which also requires masks in public. I made the mistake of following CDC guidelines early on and didn't order any medical masks since healthcare workers needed them. Now I can only get masks approved for dust and they won't be delivered until May. The grocery store I go to provides all their employees with masks, so why can't Delta? Getting food on an overnight was already hard enough.

Even on the weekend or at 10PM when I report for a red eye? I couldn't find any when I checked. The only thing I saw were some to go coffee kits.

Will there be a big 2 after corona? If one of the legacy were to fold, which one would it be?

Anybody know if the TravelNet seats available account for middle seat blocking? Planning commute accordingly.

Had a flight last week between LGA and ATL. Flight was actually fairly full. They used the middle seats to get more people and board. Seems like the policy is similar to blocking the last row for the FAs. A great idea until they can sell the seats.

they can use middle seats if the group is all in the same family.
I also assume RJ seating (2 x 2) is exempt from this policy? |
Reserve Credit Question
Reserve in May. ALV = 77:30, RG = 75:30.
Just got assigned recency training, pay time = 8:00, over my first two days of Reserve Availability. No Credit has been assigned on my schedule or time card. My reserve guarantee and credit applicable to reg G/S slip pay has been reduced to 70:38. Guessing the actual credit of RCY training is 4:52 (75:30-4:52=70:38)? 1. Does this 4:52 just go against my credit and reduce my RG to 70:38 but still get paid 75:30? 2. Will this be fixed after the training is complete? Thanks and cheers. |

The reserve days are worth 75:30/31 each. That's how they got down to 70:38. Then they have to pay you for the training days, which are worth 4hrs each.
11.b.4 in my case. 4:00 for the travel day to ATL and 4:00 for the sim period day. I'll take that...and put in my emergency fund... I think the sweet life of SEA330B is coming to an end. What's the name of that truck driving school again?! Thanks, fellas! |

Over on skynet it’s being said both ways, one flight, and connections approved. Something clarifying via memo would be nice though.
Yep, just came back to say exactly this. Clarification would be nice. |
