No idea, I would assume the NMB is the only party that has any idea. My hunch is it will be close since a lot of the ATL FA's voted.

Cravaack flew as a pilot for Northwest Airlines until 2007, retiring because of what a spokesman said were issues with sleep apnea. Since then, he has worked as a volunteer with the parent-teacher association at his children's school.
He and his wife, Traci, have two sons.
Profile:

Chip Cravaack's first run for office has its roots in the 2009 unrest over the changes in national health care law. He says he traveled to Rep. Jim Oberstar's office to request a town hall meeting on the issue and didn't get it.
Cravaack has opposed widespread changes in the system and has crisscrossed the sprawling northeast Minnesota district in a 1987 RV dubbed "the War Wagon," shrink-wrapped with his "Vote Chip" message and pictures of a helicopter he flew in the Navy.
He presents a pro-business message on the trail and has pointed to proposed mining projects on Minnesota's Iron Range as examples of government dropping obstacles in the way of economic progress. He says longtime incumbent Oberstar's support for the Clean Water Restoration Act puts environmental interests ahead of prosperity on the Range.
Cravaack also criticizes Oberstar for supporting cap-and-trade legislation, which Cravaack says would increase commodity costs and send jobs abroad. Cravaack has said the bill is based on "scientifically corrupt data."

This is Chip Cravaack's first campaign for public office. He faces incumbent Democratic Rep. Jim Oberstar in the November 2010 general election for Minnesota's 8th District U.S. House seat

Wow...That's gotta be a good feeling taking out a politician that a year or two earlier refused to listen to you as a citizen.

Seems that this election was the first one in a long time where career politicians lost and average American Citizens won. (Your Friend Included)
I for one, am happy to see that.

Wonder who will take over Oberstar's job as Chairman of Transportation and Infrastructure Committee?
He was previously a Council 1 ALPA Rep.

Not that I know anything, but I'm predicting a narrow loss for the AFA...and I'm glad I'm not working for the next 6 days.

I think it will be closer than that. The ATL base is largely Anti-AFA, and the get out the vote drive really make many of those that could care less aware it was going on. It does come down to how these FA's vote. If they actually voted, I suspect a loss for the AFA. Just a guess though.

The ATL AFA base is huge, and in my travels I have found only a few hand fulls of FA's voting yes, most were voting no.

BZZZZZ wrong. I predict that with 90% of former NWA FA voting yes, it won't take much to get it too pass. Many DAL will vote yes, but the problem will be the no voters will be negated by the FA's who did not vote (or who were on the fence)

Of people that voted, I bet it's over 70% yes to AFA
