Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

45 mins?

Heck I sat for 2+30 two times trying to get a hold of tracking after canceling my second position flight. I called scheduling and they answered with in a few mins but alas they could not do what I needed them to do. They are slammed, and are building rotations not just for this IROPS, but for the one that will be in JFK in a day or two.

Yeah, I knew 45 mins wasn't anything compared to others. We were trying to help out the operation, but just too much IROPS.

I hope they take care of everyone that's stuck.

On my PBS calendar it shows shadow for the first 5 days after my school is done. Does that mean they are planning OE during that time or not till after that time? Either way I bid trips to touch those days so they would have to drop them, right?

Because I'm sitting fat, dumb, and happy in a hotel room not worrying about commuting or having to call CT or being rerouted. Missed last month's NYC snow and will miss this month's too.

Reserve gurus........I have a composite line of vacation and reserve. Total value 79:20 with a reserve guarantee of 37:20 and 42 hours of vacation pay. Can I only be used up to the 37:20 or can I be used for more? Thanks
