Check your PM btw Buzz.
For the young guns, FTB and 80 included, here's a tribute to two greats....Johnny Cash and the Starlifter. Someday there'll be a similar youtube video for the Mad Dog.

That is traditional Delta, and something that may strike our North types as odd... it traditionally was a very much gentleman's operation where everyone kind of looked out for everyone. It was rare to hear someone say "that's not my job," or something of the sort... kind of like the north FA's aren't allowed to touch the door. Stuff like that just made me scratch my head.

Considering how much more we do above and beyond the PWA frequently makes even more of a case for better compensation and treatment in the coming negotiations.

As far as bringing more stuff into Mecca... I'm not really seeing that. Perhaps bringing back some of what was taken from Mecca? Those of us based in ATL have seen nothing but a backslide since the merger as a massive amount of hours were removed from ATL pilots and flown by those in other bases- particularly the north fleets that have not seeing an equipment position open up in ATL.

As far as what to do in an IROP, what would be fantastic to see would be to have an intelligent enough computer system to reroute flights/crews through other bases. For example, snowpocolypse 2012 hits and actual flights are rerouted through CVG, MEM, DTW in between pushes/during downtimes. You'd lose some of the O&D traffic, but they are snowed in anyways.... what you salvage is a large chunk of the operation though and don't blow money out the backside while maintaining passenger schedule integrity.

Yet another complaint from WP...

I'm not a windows guy. I have an iMac and there is a fairly sizable number pf pilots who are also Apple users. I'm also fairly inept with computers; one (of many) reasons why I have an iMac...

Why can't the company provide a disc that runs on both?

Yes, I know I can spend my money to purchase "windows for mac" or something, but I shouldn't have to.

Did you file it correctly,
OC-1, 4th floor men's room stall #3 behind the toilet.

Unless you file them correctly they will never get the job done.

No, unfortunately you have to scroll to the last page, but only one time. Once you've done it, it should go to the last page every time after that.
